Disability Support Worker - Casual

JOIN OUR TEAM: DISABILITY SUPPORT WORKER: YARRAWONGA AND NUMURKAH

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker's to provide assistance and support to individuals with disabilities.

Successful candidates will be responsible for helping clients with daily living activities, providing emotional support, and promoting independence and community integration.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Certificate III in Disability or related field - minimum
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate

Mandatory

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
  • Current Working With Children’s Check
  • Valid Driver's Licence
  • Smartphone and internet access

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Help clients with mobility and transportation needs
  • Administer medication and monitor health conditions
  • Assist with meal preparation and household tasks
  • Develop and implement individualised care plans
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the best possible care for clients
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation

Please note: roles are employed on a casual basis.

Volunteer and student fee waiver

As a student or volunteer, you can apply for a fee waiver for the compulsory NDIS Worker Screening Check.

On acceptance of a position with PALS, please visit the Vic Services page, download the forms submit to Victorian Government Services.
