Held in Portland, the PALS Panthers proudly represented PALS at the 2025 Tri State Games in November, delivering an outstanding performance across athletics, aquatics and indoor sports. The Games were a fantastic celebration of inclusion, determination and teamwork, with our athletes showing incredible commitment, sportsmanship and Panther pride throughout the event.

From the track to the pool and indoor arenas, the Panthers achieved an impressive medal tally and, more importantly, embraced every opportunity to challenge themselves, support each other and celebrate their achievements.

Athletics highlights

Our athletes excelled on the track and in the field, bringing home a strong mix of gold, silver and bronze medals:

  • Shakaya Griffin Roberts – 3rd (75m Run), 2nd (50m Run), 2nd (Discus)
  • Nathan Hendrie – 2nd (100m Run), 1st (75m Run), 1st (Discus)
  • Hayley Hendrie – 2nd (75m Run), 1st (50m Run), 1st (Shot Put)

The Panthers continued their success in the pool, demonstrating confidence and skill across multiple events:

Indoor sports success

Strong performances continued indoors, with several gold medal finishes:

More than medals

While the medal count reflects an exceptional level of effort and achievement, the true success of the Tri State Games was the confidence, joy and connection our athletes gained from participating. The PALS Panthers supported each other every step of the way, embodying the spirit of inclusion and community that defines PALS. We also thank Meat on Melville for their fundraising support.
